Loie Room Fragrance

A pioneer of both modern dance and theater lighting techniques, American actress and dancer Loie developed her own natural movement and improvisation techniques. In more than one show she experimented with a long skirt, choreographed her movements and played with the way she reflected light. In 1891, Fuller choreographed his choreography in silk, illuminated by multicolored lighting of his own design.
